PROSEEDER
OVERVIEW
Proseeder is a deal management SaaS platform to source, manage and report on investment opportunities.
The goal was to design, build and launch Proceed.AI, an AI feature that would recommend investments based on user activity in the platform.
For example, if an investor regularly searched for clean tech startups, then the system would make more suggestions on this topic.

My role: Product Owner and UX Designer.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Create a mobile, table and desktop responsive AI feature that would use an algorithm to read user activity and provide suggestions on related topics.
How could we make this user friendly?
MY CONTRIBUTION
I took a simplistic approach while designing this feature. Researched how other systems such as Amazon or LinkedIn worked, and made the necessary adjustments to make the design relevant to our product and clients.
PROCESS
Research: our team has 10+ years of experience in the corporate venture industry, so we conducted interviews with clients and users to learn about specific pain points that we could solve.
Competitive comparison: we conducted research and testing of other similar systems available, such as LinkedIn, Amazon, Instagram, Facebook.
Product Development: We worked closely with the engineering team to learn about the possibilities and limitations of the project. After a few iterations of wireframes and prototypes on Sketch (my contribution), we performed user testing and created our first MVP. The project was managed on Jira, Confluence and Slack.
OUTCOME
The final product was deployed into the clients platforms.
As per some of our clients, the AI functionality provided an interesting solution to our users sourcing activities.
